I am excited to have the opportunity to work at LMEC and with our larger community, parents, staff, and students!
I have been an educator for sixteen years, with eight years at the high school level and eight years at the middle school level. I was born in Mexico but grew up in City Heights. I received my bachelor’s degree in social science and my master’s in education from San Diego State University. I believe that every student can learn and that it is my job as an educator to help students believe the same about themselves. I also believe in having high expectations and making sure all students, regardless of their background, have access to a rigorous education. It is ultimately our responsibility as educators to provide students with the tools and support to be successful.
