School Governance Team (SGT)


The Site Governance Team (SGT) of each school is designed to provide all stakeholders a voice in how the school operates within the instructional vision. School decisions, in the Scope of Authority, should be made with the input of both certificated and classified staff in conversation with parents, guardians, and students. The Scope of Authority includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Change in the school's prep time subject emphasis
  • School-side student discipline plan
  • Start/end times (that don’t result in additional District expense)
