Click here to report an absence. Please give at least 2 hours notice for an early dismissal request, if possible. If an emergency happens, and it is not possible to plan ahead, we ask for your patience while we process your request and work as quickly as possible to retrieve the student. Students must show their early dismissal pass (blue slip) before leaving campus.

Parents can check if an absence was reported and coded appropriately using the PowerSchool parent portal. If a student was marked absent by mistake they should contact their teacher. After a review of their records the teacher can submit a change request.

Excused Absences

• Illness (Absences due to illness for three or more consecutive days require a note from your doctor to be excused.)
• Medical or dental appointments
• Death in the family
• Court appointments
• College visits
• Extreme family emergency. Please be specific.

Unexcused Absences

• Transportation problems
• Oversleeping
• Family activities out of town (vacations or trips)
• Personal matters
